St. Louis Urological Surgeons was founded in 1935 with the goal of delivering the highest quality urological care to the people of the St. Louis metropolitan area. We employ only the finest methods and equipment available to restore good health. Our physicians are superior practitioners knowledgeable in the most recent advances in all fields of urology. Our physicians are Diplomats of the American Board of Urology, and are certified as specialists in adult and pediatric urology. They are members of the American, and the St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society. Our physicians participate in extensive continuing medical education, and have been consistent leaders in the introduction of state-of-the-art treatment options to this area.

While we encourage payment for services as they are provided, our Business Office will file your insurance claims for you. All of our physicians are Participating Providers in the Medicare program, and they also participate in most of the major managed care plans in the metropolitan area.

If you are a member of a managed care plan, there are certain features common to these plans of which you should be aware. First, you will usually be responsible for a co-payment due at the time of your visit. Second, many plans require a referral from your primary care physician in order for your visit to a specialist be covered.

It is your responsibility to secure the proper referrals, and failure to do so can result in your insurance company denying your claim. In such situations you are responsible for all charges.

Fees
We provide our patients with the best available care and facilities at a reasonable cost. If you have any questions about our charges, please do not hesitate to ask.

We urge you to pay for services as they are rendered. However, should larger fees, such as those for surgical procedures, impose a burden on your family, our Administrator will assist you in making manageable arrangements.
